Gospel
He is Risen!
On the third day
The tomb was bare
The women came early
But found Him not there
Whom seek ye here?
Asked an angel sitting near
For the Lord is Risen!
He is not here!
Go tell His disciples
He is in Galilee
There ye shall find Him
Alive for the world to see!
Death cannot hold Him
The grave has no power
He is risen, praise God!
He lives this very hour
They hurried away
To tell of this thing
When the disciples found Him
They worshipped their King
All power was given Him
In earth and in heaven
“Go ye therefore to all nations”
He commanded the eleven
“Teach them to observe
All things I have taught
Death has no victory
Your souls have been bought!
Baptize them in the name
Of the Father and the Son
And of the Holy Ghost”
Because these three…..are One
“And lo – I am with you
Until the end of the world
I will never leave you
I am with you forevermore.”

I love this, it contains a wonderful message. And the simplicity of it,is much the same as the simplicity of God's slavation plan for man. From what we read in the scriptures.... Jesus was a simple man, with simple, basic needs. But oh my, what a wonderful finish to his life here as a man! I have often wondered what went through the minds of those who cried "crucify him", when the news of his glorious resurrection reached their ears. Great poem! Bessie
