The Journey

As you walk along the way,
Think of something nice to say.
To bring a smile and spread some cheer,
Or maybe comfort someone’s fear.
For life is a journey we all must do,
And these chances are but a precious few.
The journey of life can be hard or kind;
It’s all about your state of mind.
While we each may take a separate road,
We can still help to lesson the load.
The road may seem to bend and wind.
And you never know what blessings you’ll find.
A kind word to help someone in need,
Makes it an easier journey for us all indeed.
