"Huh? Lord? Did You call me?"

[SILENCE.]

"LORD? LORD! Did You just say something
to me? PLEASE, LORD: SPEAK!"

[SILENCE.]

"What? What do You want me to
do, Lord? I'm always asking You,
but You never say anything!"

[SILENCE.]

"Lord, Ya' know, I don't have that
much productive time left; if there's
somethin' I need ta' do, You better
let me know, soon. Don't Ya' think?"

[TOTAL SILENCE.]

"Where is Lord Jesus? Let me speak
to Him!"

"I am here, dear child."

"What should I do, Lord Jesus?
The Father is being ominously silent,
as usual. Maybe, You could help."

"Tell Me, child."

"Well, could You go and ask the Father
what He wants me to do for the rest
of my ne're do 'well life? I keep
asking Him the same questions, but
am getting nowhere. Tal vez, El Senor
quiere que yo pratique el espanol mas:
sera mejor si yo hablaria con El en
este lengua? Me gusta mucho el
espanol, aunque mi subuntivo no es
muy bien.

[SMILE.]
"No, child. You do not need to speak
in Spanish; the Father will hear you."

"Yikes; I fervently pray that He does
not expect me to talk 'ta Him in
Hebrew. OY VEY. At school,
My Hebrew is worse than my
geometry. Well, okay: nothing was
worse than gym class. Remember how
my gym teachers always got mad at
me cuz' I could never do a somersault?"

"He knows you, child."

"Well, how can I find the Father,
Lord Jesus? He didn't go off to
the far side of Pluto, again, did He?"

"All you need to do, is seek Him, My beloved.

"The Father seems to have taken the cloud up,
from my tabernacle, and left without me.
I remember what Scripture says in
Numbers 9:18:

At the command of the Lord the people of
Israel set out, and......encamped;
as long as the cloud rested over the tabernacle,
they remained in camp.......
Sometimes the cloud was a few days over the
tabernacle,
and according to the command of the Lord, they remained....
then according to the command of the Lord
they set out....sometimes the cloud remained
from evening until morning;
and when the cloud was taken up in the
morning, they set out...................

Maybe, Lord Jesus, I wasn't watching
carefully enough; the Father took His cloud up,
and left, while I was distracted inside my
tabernacle. Now, I don't know where He is, Lord Jesus.

[Silence.]

"Lord Jesus? Do You think You could help me
find Him? Please? I feel very lonely right now.
I don't want to talk about the cares of the world,
Lord Jesus. I only want to be quiet,
in the Father's love, and beauty.
Feeling the Father's Presence is well; it is
worth a price above rubies.
I wish I was more literally gifted, Lord Jesus. But,
as You know, I'm just a slow bumble bee - lethargic
in the summer warmed air,
and happy to just 'been given the chance to fly at all.

"You are surrounded in His love, little child.
All you have to do is look; look around you,
and He is there."

"I'll try that, Lord Jesus. I guess I better keep
a sharper eye on that cloud which moves over my
spiritual tabernacle - or else, I may lose my way
altogether.

"What does my Word say, daughter?"

"Watch therefore, for you know neither
the day nor the hour.
[Matthew 25:13]

I guess, Lord Jesus, that it tells me to
constantly keep an eye on my Lord...
waiting, and watching.....for the hour
of His Coming? But, being distracted
even for a little bit, Jesus, couldn't
possibly do any harm......
.......or, Lord Jesus, COULD IT?"

[SILENCE.]
