My joy

My joy is to have your presence
To look upon your face with no disgrace
To do your will and obey your voice
And to hear it even through the awful noise

My joy is to worship and praise you
Even though my days may be dark and painful
Because I know you’ll be there with me
To rescue me, be my shield, redeem and set me free

Having your Holy Spirit brings me joy
To know that I am yours forever more
To be certain that you will speak to me
And show me what it is I need to see

My joy is to love you my Sovereign God
Who washed my sins away and replaced them with Blood!!
The blood of Jesus that flows through my veins
And with it I can stand my ground protected all my days

I know this life isn’t easy and it’s filled with trials
But my joy is to face them, with you by my side
To give you the victory over my life
These are my joys my God you are my light!!
