He Will Answer Me

The purpose of what I am doing only you can fulfill
The results that I need and am yearning for only you can give
I am not doing what I am doing in vain for your eyes are on me
And even though it is hard, I will still worship you as it will bring me close to you

I am humbling myself for a mightier and greater cause
For you to deliver me and break all the yokes and bonds
For you to make me strong, and lift the heavy burdens
To set me free and give me healing within so that I can flourish

I am bearing my soul naked before your eyes, grace and throne
Handing everything to you, hiding nothing but surrendering it all
So that you can deal with everything in me that makes me fall short
So that I may have victory, conquering my enemies and giving them hell

I want to do it your way, to sacrifice myself in a way that is worthy
And I need your spirit to cover and strengthen me so I am not in danger
Of succumbing to my flesh and its treachery, but unyielding to its charm
Discerning the illusions and the plot of my defeat dwindling them before hand

When I pray may the power that is in the Trinity be upon me as I shoot
Causing havoc in the enemies’ camp, firing with accuracy and no longer aloof
May my prayers be knocks on heavens doors, reaching your ears and causing you to act
Readily with my answer, delivering me and taking me to higher ground, equipped and intact

In the end, Daddy may there be more of you, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in me
May I realize that no matter what you will answer me and I should just wait and see
The wonderful exploits you are going to do in and for me, and I shall dream
Dreams of my answers and my release, so thank you for being faithful and loving me
