"Holy Spirit?"

[SILENCE.]

"Holy Spirit, can I speak to you
when I'm real mad at the Father?"

"No."

"Why not? How come?
Hey, I........"

"Because child, I AM the Holy Spirit."

"Well, I think I should be allowed to
speak to Whomever I want."

"No. You speak to Me, child."

"How come? Hey, I thought I had a
choice, now!"

"Now that what, child?"

"Well, now that, You know;
now that I'm not just Jewish,
anymore."

"Anymore than what?"

"Well, You know;
now that I believe in Jesus,
and all. Hey, I want to talk
to Him. Lord Jesus?"

"What is it, child."

"I want to just talk to You,
Lord Jesus. I'm really mad
at the Father."

"Yes, child. I know."

"Oh. Well, I'm angry at Him!
He hasn't been communicating
with me lately, Lord Jesus!
I'm very upset!"

"He knows, child."

"He just doesn't tell me things,
Lord Jesus. Everybody tells me to
pray: pray and be quiet. They
say when I'm peaceful, then
I can listen better."

[NOD.]

"But, I have, Lord Jesus! What
about when I sleep? I'm quiet,
then. Why doesn't He talk to me,
then?"

"He talks to you, all the time, child.
All you have to do is listen."

"I feel like He went on vacation,
or something: to go and look at the
Grand Canyon, maybe."

"I am everywhere, child.
Seek Me, and I am there."

"Hey, what's Your favorite spot, Lord:
Hawaii? Australia? The North Pole?"

[SMILE.]

"No, really; do You ever go, and
just sit on planet Pluto, to
gaze at all the stars? Like, when
You get fed up with everybody?
Hey, I would, Lord."

"Read My Word, child."

"Why: did You talk about Pluto,
Lord Jesus? Here's something:

The heavens are Thine,
the earth also is Thine.
the world and all that is in it,
Thou hast founded them.
[Psalms 89:11]

I think David was looking up
at some planets and stars, Lord,
when he wrote that part."

"He was looking at Me, child."

"I don't understand You, Lord.
One minute You're here,
and the next minute You're there;
how can You be everywhere?"

[SMILE.]

"Hey, I rhymed. I don't
usually do that, Lord."

[NOD.]

"Well, I'm not as mad at You,
Father, like I was, before."
But, You're still kind'of in the
Dog House."

"I understand, My beloved."

"Oh, Lord! Don't call me THAT!
You're going to ......."

"Soften you, child?"

"Oy, vey. Yeah, I guess so, Lord."

[Silence.]

"It's hard to stay mad at You, Lord."

[SILENCE.]

"Hey, Lord? Who am I talking to, now?"

"You are speaking to Me, child."

"Oh, okay. I guess."

"Read My Word, child."

"Yes, Lord. If I do,
maybe I can learn to trust
You, more."

"More?"

"Uh, then I will trust You.
I will learn to trust You,
with all my heart, Father."

"And?"

"Then........then, I will trust
You with all my heart,
mind, and soul."

[NOD.]

firmament of the heavens......
let them be for signs and for seasons....
let them be lights in the firmament of
the heavens to give light upon the earth.
