I must obey Him
When I hear Him call
Give myself as an offering
To one and to all

To be in His service
Is my honor for His glory
To tell of His mercies
That old gospel story

My heart, He’s changing
He’s doing a new thing
So I die to myself
And live only for my King

The call of His service
Is not just for a chosen few
The Holy Spirit beckons
For me and for you

If we listen closely
In the stillness of our soul
We will hear Him whisper
When He tells us to ‘Go’

Whether to a foreign land
Or just across the street
We are called to witness
To everyone we meet.

Are we really His children
Ashamed of His name?
Father forgive us
For not carrying Your flame

So many are dying
So many are lost
While we hoard this precious gift
Found only at the cross

I hear You calling
But where do I begin?
Just writing of Your love
Is not enough, in the end

I hunger for Your approval
I thirst for Your pleasure
To be made into Your image
I so dearly treasure

I must give You my all
Proclaim boldly of Your grace
Fill this hunger inside
To do more in this race

I prayerfully seek You
Jesus, show me the way
What would You have me to do?
What would You have me to say?

Whom shall I send?
Who will go for Me?
Here am I, Lord.....
Send me
