Speak to my heart Holy Spirit...
so it can hear what you have to say
I will do all I can, to keep it open for you
whenever I go to pray

Lord mend back all that was broken
renew this weakling frame
Place everything back, the way it was before
for only in you, I can remain

Speak to my heart so that I may know
who's having charge of my mind
For there are many voice's, twirling around
putting in, their own time

Your chastisement O' Lord is needed
beat this flesh of mine in shape
So to help it, to obey your commandments
for your word I can't escape

Let your Holy Spirit guide me
through the many thorns and snares
That lay wait, to capture my soul
and Lord you know, they are everywhere

Speak to my heart of good things
let it hear the tidings of good news
For the broken, wounded, hurt and rejected
and even those that have been bruised

Now at the ending of my souls request
I ask you restore everything anew
So that I can be an instrument, for your use
and whatever I do, I'll know, it's of you
