Can you count up, the value of life
do you know what it is worth
Have you imagined what, the cost can be
and then accept it bottled with mirth

When the day arrives, do you open your eyes
to welcome the rising of the sun
and breath the air that's wide and free
can you say to God, well done!

Will you cherish that smile on a child's face
and look forward, to see it each day
and not dwell on the sorrows that do come
but try hard to throw them away

Life can be full of abundant pleasure's
if it be filled with the one's you love
For there is always someone that's special
and could well be, a gift from above

There can be laughter, in the pouring rain
and joy through, the darkest night
Out of the abundance of the heart, things are
made
that can make, one's life be bright

Don't let life dictate to you
don't allow it, to have the upper hand
For you are precious in God's sight
and whatever you need, he can command

We are like a tree that has been planted
but we need nourishment to survive
When times we're bent, ever so low
then we need to be revived

So value your life like a precious jewel
and you'll find it's weight in gold
For God gave it to you, by paying the price
and is willing, in his hands to hold
