Chambers
2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. (NIV)
In the book of Jeremiah, the Lord tells Jeremiah that He will write the laws on their hearts.
Jeremiah 31:33-34
33 "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel
after that time," declares the LORD.
"I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,"
declares the LORD.
"For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more."(NIV)
First let me define Chamber: a room in a palace or official residence.
Today our new covenant with Jesus Christ is written on our hearts, it contains the law. I know theirs some who will disagree with me for what I’m about to say, but our hearts are the new Ark of the covenant. Jesus reigns and rules from the mercy seat atop the ark. When we die once and for all, to ourselves. He enters the inner courts of our hearts and rules and reigns for eternity.
The heart is full of many chambers, and in one of those chamber the Lord, has prepared a bed for those who are weary so, they can come to us and find warmth and rest.
There’s another chamber in our hearts that the Lord, has prepared a table, for those who hunger for His righteousness. When they enter in this chamber you feed them with the word and your testimony.
And still there’s another chamber, where the Lord has filled it with a new song. That’s were your joy is stored abundantly, you sing without ceasing praise to your almighty King. Everyone that comes near knows your already walking on streets of gold.
And it the blood of His new covenant, that flows through these chambers refreshing us every morning. The troubles of yesterday are cleansed and made whole as they pass through the chambers of Gods love.
There’s room in the palace, for there are many chambers.
Lord, I ask that You sit on the throne of my heart,
with all your majesty and let your glory radiate from my inner most being.
When you are in the inner most sanctuary of my heart let the worlds see You
And not me, my life is not my own Master, it’s Yours.
Do with me as it pleases You.
In Jesus name, Amen
