I love to read all those books with the sayings in them. I have several, and I spend a lot of time flipping through them. I have one that is called '8,736 words of wisdom'. I think I'm on page five!

Tonight, this is what I found in a book called 'Wise Words and Quotes' by Vern McLellan.

'De good Lawd send me troubles an' I got to work them out.
But I look aroun' an' see There's trouble all about.
An' when I see my troubles I jes look up an' grin
To think of all the troubles Dat I ain't in'.

Isn't this great? Yes, I have a mountain of trouble. Don't we all? But I read this and I was reminded once again that I am not alone, and things really could be so much worse.

I'm going to be okay. You're going to be okay too.

Be very thankful for the troubles you don't have, and continue to pray for those who do have some of them.

All in all, isn't life such a tremendous blessing? In spite of all that tough stuff? You are being molded and strengthened through each trial you face. You are being made mighty--you are becoming more like Jesus.

I hope you'll remember the words of that little poem every time you think you just can't go one more step. You can. God can.

Feel blessed, even as you face the troubles, because you are!

YES!!! YES!!! As I always say, things could be so much worse! When we look around us - I mean really take the time to see behind the faces of those we encounter - we will find that there are many who are going through struggles we have never personally experienced! Thanks for the reminder - this brought a smile to my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YSICJ, Jounda
