They Spoke Your Name
They spoke Your name in vain today
I knew not who they were
But the anger in my heart, I felt
And my spirit did concur.
To know how much You love them
That You would sacrifice Your Son
Then they would use Your Holy name
As a curse word, just for fun.
They spoke Your name in vain today
Without a single thought
It hurt me just to hear the scorn
I felt sad and distraught.
But I said not a word in Your defense
Just silently breathed a prayer
Now I almost feel as guilty as they
For not letting them know.....I care.

If only those who spoke His Name in vain really understood His Amazing Love;I believe those words would then become words from their lips of Praise!!!
