A Prayer of Humility
Lord, take me down a notch or two
Give me Your humbleness, within
Reveal to me my prideful heart
Open my eyes to recognize my sin.
As for my pretentious behaviors
Bring them to Your glorious light
Help me to be meek and lowly
For to glorify You, is always right .
Teach me more of your ways, Jesus
Never comparing myself to other men
But hold a mirror ever before me
To remind me of where I have been.
Bring me to the point of repentance
For everything I think, say or do
Break my heart all over again
At those times when I displease You.
Mold me into the image of You, Jesus
From me, let Your light shine through
Bring about Revival to my thirsty soul
So when others see me, they see You…..
