Several voices within my soul
Different tune and sound they give
Some with voices so soft yet so mean
Others with faces and attitudes so loud
That their real voices are subdued
But one thing is common to all of ‘em
They have finally given up

Straining my ears so hard,
I picked a bitter-laden voice
Stable but heavy with immeasurable pain
“I walked out of him when I could take it no more
Years of naked and shameless betrayal
Finally busted into unworkable difference
I gave so much and received so little”

“Is there anything like a happy union?
On the pages of storybooks may be, but not in real life, I am sure
How could the one I trusted stabbed my virtuousness?
How could she put a live coal in my bosom?
When I surrendered my body to her with an unstained sincerity?
She rode my innocence like an untamed horse
My heart she damaged in no small measure

Oh my love, my own. My dear and friend
Please take me not for granted, I plead
Neither take as unimportant this love we share
As I love you today, so I planned loving you all my life
Listen to me, understand me and do forgive my wrongs
But whatever you do never you give up on this sacred love
Join force with me and let us make this work
