As I seek you,
The closer you come,
Your perfect presence,
The work you’ve done.

Don’t let turn my back on you,
Don’t let me hide my face in shame,
You died so I could live again.

Your mercy and grace,
Defy my understanding,
Bring me closer Lord,
I want to see your face.

You take me to the top of the highest mountain,
After every deep valley,
Like the stream of a flowing fountain,
You wash me in your love.

You took my life within Your hands,
Showed me the comfort which
Only You can.
You are so faithful and I am not,
I thank you Lord,
That in your hands I’ll never be forgot.

Why you do this is a mystery to me,
Why were beaten and spat upon and killed,
Just to set me free.

I want to be immersed deep within you,
Away from the world,
And all the evil I can’t help but do.

My beautiful faithful Lord,
How I love You so,
Only you can change my evil heart,
And only you can help me to let go.
