I don't think anyone thinks much about the picture they are presenting to the world around them. Everything seems to be about me, me, me! More for me, less for you. Comparisons. Afraid to admit to making even the tiniest little mistake.

Are you a person who keeps their word? If you tell someone you are going to do something, do you do it? Or put it off until you 'feel' like it?

If you don't back up what you tell people, if you don't mean what you say and follow through on the action, then what good is your word? None.
You have to be a person who stands behind any committment or promise you make, because if you aren't, then no one will ever believe you. They won't listen to you.

Since we represent Christ, I believe that we have to be sure to follow through on our committments, our contracts, and our Christian walk. If we want people to see God in us, then we have to show the correct picture. Oh, I know that life, with all its variables, will throw curveballs at any plans we make. This is expected. Still, you must make the calls explaining your delay in following through, and then do it. Stand behind your words.

Don't be a wishy-washy person who just mindlessly babbles meaningless promises. Be a person who meets the challenges, and honors them.

Character counts. You count. Make sure your picture isn't fuzzy on this. This will take you further in life than having all the money in the world ever will.
