Faith

Yep, you heard me correctly. I don't want to be 'religious' nor do I want to be 'spiritual'.
But I am. I am both of these things, and yet I want to be so much more.

I want to be like Jesus. I want to be full of love, full of grace, overflowing with compassion.
I want to be gentle and tender and kind. I want to say all the right things at all the right times. I want to follow Him, and watch how He does things, and then I want to be a copycat. I want to be just like my Brother.

What about being full of joy? I am. I may have times when unhappiness and despair creep in, and I flounder around like a fish at the end of a hook, but I am never without joy. Never. Because underneath all that stuff is Jesus. Because I know Him, my joy can never be stolen from me. Hmmmm....unhappiness, despair, pain. Yet still feeling joy. Strange but true. You really can feel all these things at the same time. Happy and joy have different meanings.

I don't want to be religious or spiritual. I want to be whole!
