Are you plugged in?
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you shall be witnesses in Jerusalem and in all of Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Imagine you come home from a long day at work, sit in your favorite chair, reach for the TV remote, press the button, and nothing happens. After a few minutes you find that the power cord was not plugged in to the outlet. Televisions need power in order to work. So do Christians. Where TVs get their power from the outlet, Christians get our power from the most high God. He is the ultimate power source. Through the Holy Spirit His power can flow in us and through us. All we have to do is plug in. Through prayer, reading the word of God and praise and worship, we can be plugged in to what God has in store for us. God can not use us to our fullest if we don’t plug in.
So plug in and feel the power of the most High God.
