Are you comfortable?

We like to be comfortable. Nice cars, soft sofas, comfortable beds and nice houses. We like to feel good where we are. God however, does not want us to get comfortable. Because when we get comfortable, we do not move forward in the work He has called us to do. In fact, if we are not careful we will start to go backwards. If we do not keep going forward, we will stop, then we will start to go backward. Much like a car on a hill, as long as it is moving it will go forward. As soon as it stops it will start to roll back down the hill losing all the ground it has gained. The lord wants us to keep moving, to build the church, to reach out to the lost and hurting. Don’t let anyone go to bed unsaved. This may be their last day on earth. I don’t want anyone to go to hell because I was to comfortable to take time out to tell them about the saving grace of Jesus. So do you want to continue moving forward? Or are you Comfortable?
