Are You Ashamed?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom 1:16

Paul tells us in this verse that he is not ashamed of the gospel. He went to prison because of his belief. When Paul and Silas were in the prison they continued to pray and praise God. How many of us could do that when faced with these problems? Yet, when the littlest thing comes up in our lives, we forget who we are in Christ. And tell someone else about our beliefs. No way. That is for the Pastors and other people. Jesus told all of us to go into the world and preach the Gospel, not just the ones with credentials. You may be the only chance someone has to hear the gospel of Jesus. If you don’t tell them, who will? If we are to afraid to tell others about Jesus, then Jesus will be ashamed of us.
