Ever pondered on the sound of high heels?
Piercing through the ground ever so firmly.
With all dignity and pride, step after step;
Not a care in the world of the impressions that it might make.

Ever pondered on the sound of high heels?
Piercing your soul, tempting your needs.
Peacefully, the sound sings in your ears;
Not a care in the world that the impressions may last for years.

Ever pondered on the sound of high heels?
Piercing your mind, with both caution and certainty.
Hypnotises those ears’, putting you in a trance
Not a care in the world… the impressions might never dance.

Ever pondered on the sound of high heels?
Piercing your emotions, how do you really feel?
It starts a bit slowly, then picks up some pace;
Not a care in the world of where the impressions might be placed.

Ever pondered on the sound of high heels?
Praying and hoping that the sound would soon cease.
Holding your heart, you beg the Lord up above.
Doesn’t the sound of high heels… remind you of love?
