Why can’t I see,
You will bring me to eternity?
Why do I fret,
When this day is not done yet?
What are my days?
Vapor, and fading sun rays.
What is my life?
Vanity and empty strife.
Carry me!
To the end where You I can see!
Carry me!
Beyond my days to be free!
You saved me,
One decade ago, and one year.
You’ve brought me,
So far faithfully placing me here.
You will take me,
To the end, beyond all time.
You will finish,
My poem life, making it rhyme.
Carry me!
To the end where You I can see!
Carry me!
Beyond my days to be free!
Carry me!
My hearts aches for final delivery!
Carry me!
Set me b’fore Your glorious Tree!
