“You question My love for you,
When you find yourself blue.
You complain ‘bout your trial,
By this, My goodness you defile.

“I’ve endured bloodshed,
Striving ‘gainst sin.
By My loss on the cross,
I’ve laid a path for you to win.
By My death and My pain,
I’ve made way for your gain.
This, My strength, My holy horn.
This My joy before you were born.

“Your disdain the answer ‘no.’
I have said to make you grow.
Now you turn your heart from me,
Not knowing My plan for your victory.

“Now you’re drawn by a winking eye,
My promise to you, you’ve set by.
All for empty fleeting pleasure,
You have turned from My good measure.

“I’ve endured bloodshed,
Striving ‘gainst sin.
By My loss on the cross,
I’ve laid a path for you to win.
By spilt blood, I’ve made good,
Even while you’ve been rude.
Endure as I, I’ve set the pace,
And you will win the race.

“Take up the cross,
Don’t be like the others.
My promise to you, beyond the blue.
I’ll delight to call you all My brothers!

“I am better than your religious rules,
I am better than precious jewels.
I satisfy beyond any joy,
All My promises are not coy.

“Follow Me, you’ll be free,
You will see your victory.
You’ll have time to praise Me,
I have given you eternity.”
