So many bad decisions
Lots of head-on collisions
At least thats the way it seems
Trying not to lose sight of my dreams!
Keep me Lord is my prayer
Shaking off hopelessness and despair
I hold onto what you say
Only wish that it was today
So tired of waiting and waiting
Always aimlessly anticipating

A turn around in these situations
Everywhere I turn is devestation
The days seem longer than before
Show me the open doors
That can't be shut by man
I know that through you, I can
Do all things by your spirit
Honestly I don't want to hear it!

I'm ready for beauty for ashes
No more failures or crashes
Restore unto me the joy of salvation
All this time of preparation
I know has not been wasted
Can't go back because I've tasted
The power of your grace
The more I seek your face
The more I see myself
My purpose and call on the shelf

Turn my heart O Lord
And let me never be bored
But, totally in love with you
Take me back to what I used to do
Put running back in my feet
So through the fires' intense heat
I come out like pure gold
Don't let me grow cold
But courageous and bold
To press on and into
What you've called me to

Restore what has been taken!
My faith has been shaken
Bring back to me wholeness in you
And I'll forever be true
To complete my task on earth
And finally give birth
To the things on the inside
Becasue your word DOES abide
Within me, restoration, restore
I call upon you to restore, restore
Bring restoration!
