I haven't written any new poetry in a while, however, I have decided to submit a poem that I wrote while I was in high school. It is not my best but I like it. I'm open to constructive comments I didn't open my private messenger yet so my email address is [email protected]

Meditation

The sunset sinks into the golden sea.
Pink and yellow clouds reflect on the water.
There's serenity in this place. This is where the soul longs to be.

I wake to find myself lying on a pink cloud.
Away from the world, the yelling a nd tears, I float into the sunset, God's love shining here.

It's getting darker and darker. The Earth disappears and the stars are revealed. Galaxies, supernovas, planets, all created before time, heavenly ecstacies dancing before my eyes.

The cloud turns into my bed, the night into day. I feel refreshed in God's glory ready to face the day.
