Searching

I'm a boat dragging my anchor
And yet, I'm still sailing.
Tired eyes relect back at me
I carry what has been denied.

Remembering the sun on my face...
Limitless possibilities...
Now replaced by,
The ticking clock
My trailing anchor
Oh, where is the finish line?
Perhaps the greatest adventures exist only in the mind.

Mundaneland sends its invitation
Yet, I still see the dancing dolphins within destiny's hand.
I'm a boat dragging my anchor
Authenticity, be my dock
The darkness in the world I indentify in my own heart
And yet, I still see my reflection in the eyes of God.

Will the circling car finally leave the block?
Can Dread be a neighbor to Calm?
Spirit, lets find a companion to run beside
Love, be more than misery.
I'm a boat dragging my anchor
But I'll keep sailing until sunset.
