I had a visit from you today
Though strange
I listened any way

You said you needed to let

What momma said
Was really so

You said I wouldn’t believe
My eyes
And to keep my faith real close

The place was just
The most

You said the streets were paved with gold
And told of a river
Where pure honey
Flows

You said there were no tears
And HE was there, so no fears
You said His face lit up the place
And you were surrounded by all God's grace

You told me of your mansion
Just over the hill top
And
Praising his name never stopped

You said the choir of Angels
Sang with all their hearts
And that you were honored and happy Just to be able to
Sing your part

You said that when I arrive
You would meet me by
The Celestial Sea
Just north of the pearly gates
Is where you'd be

And that someday yonder
We would never more wonder
And we would spend eternity
With the creator
Of you and me
