Lost in this preparation called life,
My pride built my surroundings.
Even though I didn't start the fire,
I was just an extra drop of gasoline.

Somewhere along the way,
Stormy circumstances disappeared.
Hopes came up
And only One name I feared.

I relaxed in the arms of the One who loves,
And lead Him to the one who hates.
It took me my whole life to get where I am,
Only to give it up anyway.

Talk to me about life sometime.
It is the best thing when it comes to your fate.
Everyone needs to reach out for a second chance
Before they realize it's too late.

This is not practice.
This is the real thing.
Be prepared.

Only time will tell the truth of reality.
My faith will keep me secure until then.
Yes, my past life I still replay;
Yet, my future life will have no end.

Closer and closer to home,
Will I know how to get there?
Point me in the right direction,
Walk with me, and handle with care.
