Sweetly towering over me,
Your creation is but a mirror of You.
Problems You've put me in,
Taken me out, bringing me closer to You.

Loving Your creation
Who is on the other side,
Never giving up hope
Of the power made the day You died.

Taking over my soul,
Extending your arm even further,
Showcasing Your identity,
I wonder if I will ever...

Fully grasp Your love,
The truth in Your voice,
Lord, I'm diving in;
Do with me what you must.

Yet, I fall back into the filth;
Our time is far between.
An assurance this strong
Could only be a dream.

Revelations delivered from You;
Yet, they are swallowed by invited sin.
Your conviction is fully deserved,
In order to change me within.

Down, but not out,
I arise for another try with You.
Calmly Your grace whispers, "Try again,"
And oh, how I wish to...

Fully grasp Your forgiveness,
Your understanding of temptation,
Take me on a new journey
Until my work here is done.
