Where the Peaceful Waters Flow
The valleys soar so deep
And the mountains seem too steep
The place I want to go
Is where the peaceful waters flow
The bridge much too wide
Sometimes there’s no place to hide
The road much too long
The turns I take prove to be wrong
Heaven is my true home
As a pilgrim, this earth I must roam
It’s streets paved with gold
A promised sight I want to behold
It’s gates made of pearls
Beautiful iridescent color swirls
God’s glory shines so bright
There’s no place there for the night
Heaven’s where I want to be
From this old earth I’ll gladly flee
Yes the place I want to go
Is where the peaceful waters flow….
