The trueness of a bell’s ring
Depends on the brass’s purity;
If a mirror reflects clearly,
It is because it is finely and carefully polished;
If one is true,
It is because of Your great care;
If they reflect you clearly,
It is because You work in them faithfully;

This truth draws me to You;
I desire Your work,
That I may see You;
Glory in You;
So I step back from myself,
To move toward You;
I expect great things from You,
For You promise them;

You complete that which concerns me;
Do not forsake Your hand’s work.
