Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

A TIME

There is a time for every purpose
King Solomon figured this out.
He was the wisest of the wise men
He knew what he was talking about.

He said there is a time to laugh
And a time as well; to cry
There is a time for us to live
And certainly a time to die.

Our time is not Almighty God’s time
We try to hurry circumstances along.
We think we have all the answers
But it’s God who sits on the throne.

He’s forever working behind the scenes
According to His purpose and plan.
No matter how we try to change things
He’s got the whole world in His hand.

It’s so awesome when you realize
The Author and Creator of all things
Cares for each one of His children
Though we’re just lowly human beings.

He has put His plan in motion
For your life as well as mine
If you seek to know and obey Him
His glorious light will surely shine.

And you will find your life’s purpose
Somewhere deep inside your heart
Is to love and worship your Maker
That’s how He planned it from the start!

You must trust in the providence of God
Don’t try to figure life out on your own
He made all things under the sun
And it’s vanity without Jesus, to atone.

Someday all mysteries will be revealed,
Time as we know it will be no more.
The redeemed will all be beautiful
When we reach that heavenly shore!
