Because I Trust You

I walked until I was at the end of the road!

I sat down, put my head in my hands and allowed myself to cry!

I cried for all of the hurt!

I cried for the broken heart I now had!

I cried for all the whys!

Finally I was able to utter the words – “God WHY? Why do I have to go through this? Why after all I have been through, do I have to experience this pain and rejection? WHY ME GOD?”

He allowed me to go on, and I cried some more!

Then I heard His voice!

He spoke with a tenderness I’ve never heard!

He spoke with a gentleness I’ve never known!

He spoke with firmness but with more love than I have ever heard!

He said in response to my questions:

“BECAUSE I TRUST YOU! I TRUST THAT YOU WILL GO THROUGH THIS AND NOT COLLAPSE! I TRUST YOU WILL USE THIS TO HELP OTHERS! I TRUST YOU DAUGHTER! “

Immediately I heard the words from the scripture in John 15:15 I call you friends.

I stood and began to walk. I felt myself laugh! Not a Sarah laugh, but a laugh of excitement!

I was profoundly aware that I was not alone!

At that moment, in the middle of the road, I was in the presence of God and I said: “Okay God, You trust me, I trust You.”

As I walked back towards the house I began to pray for those going through personal trials. Through that prayer time it was very clear that the Lord was speaking to others as well.

I am not the lone ranger, the only one God trust in the whole world! Quite the contrary! As I called out my friends names, in prayer, I understood they were friends of God as well! I felt the need to call them and say, “Hey God TRUST YOU, that’s why you are going through this!”

So, here it is, plain and simple!

Someone is reading this right this moment and you have wondered ‘why me?’ Perhaps it is your child putting you through heart break! Maybe it is a failed marriage! Perhaps it is an addiction or maybe it is an illness. Whatever the experience is God wants you to know, you are not alone! He knows where you are! He knows your pain and heartbreak! He trusts you and will not fail you! He is speaking to someone in direct response to the questions you asked him today! He loves you more than you can ever imagine. The experience is not punishment! He is preparing you – because He trusts you!

He trusts you, now trust Him!

He wants you to run to Him; the name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run into it, and is safe (Proverbs 18:10).

He wants to be your everything! Your closest friend! He wants you to simply TRUST HIM!

John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth; but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
