I am always encouraged when I read Acts 16:25. The word of God says … at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God.

When prayer is marked by praise and thanksgiving to God it brings results.

Let us look at the phrase “At midnight”. This verse talks literally about the midnight hour. But on the other hand, we often use the word “midnight” figuratively.

In that sense “midnight” could mean the darkest hour in your life or that darkest test or trial when it looks like everything is over.

When we learn to praise God in every circumstance of life, we tap into an unlimited reservoir of His power.

You are not left alone in the dark. The Word of God instructs us on what to do in our midnight hour. The devil will tell you that you might as well throw up your hands and quit.

Acts 16:25 declare that Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God.
The Bible says they were delivered as a result.

Prayer and Praise will get the job done. So maybe you have prayed in your midnight hour. But how much time have you spent singing praises and giving thanks unto the Lord?

There is power in praise. When our praises go up to God, His blessing comes down to us. So be encouraged by what Paul and Silas did in their midnight hour and learn to enrich your prayer life with thanksgiving, praise and worship.

When you do, your life will never be the same again.
