Lord Jesus I want to draw closer to you and know you more
It is your desire to have intimate relation with your children
You are the one who delights in revealing yourself to your children
I want to draw closer to you for you know everything about me

I know through your Word that you want me to know you just as well.
So Lord Jesus as I draw closer to you, may you reveal to me great insights
Reveal to me the manifold wisdom of God and unsearchable things I do not know

Intimacy, I know, grows through quality investment of time and emotion
In my intimate walk with you, I choose to submerge myself in your Word
I will spend time focused solely on you and absorb your message of love
I thank you Lord that as I attune my senses to you, I will be able to discover your presence in every aspect of my life.

This is my heart desire and I know that by the help of your precious Holy Spirit I will continue to draw closer to you.
