THE FILLING OF THE SPIRIT

The filling of the Spirit,
Always bursts forth in song.
The joy of each believer,
Has this companionship along.

Saved and don't we know it?
Spirit giving witness to,
Our Father's love bestowed on us,
We feel it through and through.

Translated from darkness to light,
Who could have described it better,
New creatures in Christ now are we,
Who have believed His Word, every letter!

My feet though walking on earth,
Are bound for future days,
To be walking on gold in Heaven,
Singing the Master's praise!

The cross, the crucifixion,
The crown, the glorious King,
He's the Saviour of our souls,
For that, who wouldn't sing!

I thank Him, O I thank Him,
And praise His name each day,
So great Salvation now have I,
My Savior’s paved the way!

Hallelujah! What a Saviour!
