Encouragement

I’m waiting upon You Lord today,
You know my needs before I pray.
I’m tired of walking in the flesh,
I’m laboring to enter into Your Rest.

I rededicate my life to You,
Ready now, Your will to do.
Something’s coming over me,
Captivating tenderly.

Your Spirit’s quickening, wooing way,
Has left It’s mark on me today.
To some this almost seems absurd,
But such is the power of the Word.

Breathing Life into my soul,
Believing It has made me whole.
Like a mighty rushing wind,
The Holy Spirit came within.

This washing, cleansing, like a flood,
The saving power of Jesus blood.
New fellowship again is mine,
I’m walking with my Lord Divine.

I’m not saved by feelings sure,
But now I’m feeling so secure.
I’ve trusted in the Saving One,
Now new victories will be won!

Hallelujah, praise that King,
He is now my Everything!
I’m resting in the wonder of,
Jesus Christ’s and Father’s love.
