My pain weighs me down
Sorrow hardens my heart
I wish for help
For this all to stop
My mind cluttered
With thoughts of suicide
Yet I keep this hidden deep inside
How can this happen
All this so quick
Love and Happiness
Life so great
And all of a sudden
Ended that day
Left to deal with everything alone
No one there for help, not even one.
Simple cries no one heard
My heart felt broken, torn, and burnt
I scream as loud as I think I can
Yet no one looks not even a glance
Left in darkness
My life falling apart
My eyes burn with tears
Will this pain ever stop?

Then thoughts of hope
Flashed in my mind
Of one who loves me?
And would through the end of time
But how could I go back to Him
After all that Id done
Acted like I didn’t know him
And wishing that him gone

Then a voice inside calmly said
“Come back to me and I will forgive.”
But coming back seemed so hard to do
There were things I didn’t think I could go back thru
But I took the 1st step though it was small
And turned back to the Lover of them all
And soon my steps grew faster in stride
And I began to run, even to fly
And now I walk with Him every day
But my life is not perfect in anyway
I only make it thru by the strength He gives me each day,

Who is this man I talk about
Some call Him Healer, Savior and friend
Others the Almighty, the beginning and the end.
I myself use all of these
But my favorite is simply
Daddy!
