Faith

To some he was a stranger
Others a friend
But for me it was a Question
Of how far would I let him in?

He was is willing to be a father
Dedicated to the end
Love me with out question
Love that would never end

But this was new to me
Something I couldn’t grasp
Why would you love me?
Of all those you could have

Someone pretty
Someone fast
Someone who could do anything
Complete every task

And as I looked at His face
I watched the tear drop fall
“My Child” he smiled
“It is my dream to have you all”

Everyone is special
Each Unique
But no matter how many children I have
Right now its you I seek.

You say you’re lost
That you have nowhere to go
But child in my arms
Is where you will find home.

And as I looked down at his hands
That where outstretched to me
I saw the place where nails
had taken the place for me.

My heart suddenly softened
My self-broken inside
No longer did I have to find
A place for me to Hide

From my knees I stood
And looked him in the eyes
And said father How I love you
Take me home tonight.
