Did you know it's a sin for a woman to make coffee? Yup, it's in
the Bible -- You've never seen it there, have you? Well.... it
says... Are you ready? Are you sure? It says "Hebrews." Aren't
you glad you don't have to pay for E-Cheer?

Does the coffee you make have any "grounds" for complaint? To
make good coffee, the grounds have to be exposed to some really
hot water. Sometimes it takes some really "hot water" situations
to bring out the best in us.

Can you think of any "hot water" things in your life that made you
a better person? At the time, the "hot water" seemed unbearable,
but the end result was a better "you." Just like hot water cleans
the dirt from your body, sometimes unpleasant experiences can be
used to clean up your soul. A caterpillar has to struggle to
become a gorgeous butterfly. I hope your struggles have served
to make you a more beautiful person inside.

This doesn't really fit here, but it's such a colorful expression that
I thought you might be fascinated by it -- Prov. 11:22 (nlt), "A
woman who is beautiful but lacks discretion is like a gold ring in
a pig's snout." I didn't say it -- blame Solomon! You just can't
beat "inner beauty." That's where it counts.
