False experiences appearing real
Yesterday’s errors dampening today’s zeal
I’ve become too careful to make another one
So much that I end up getting nothing done

I wish to move ahead but can’t find a way
The voices in my head have led me astray
“If the mighty ones fell under this load
Then no hope exists along this road”

Yet to every rule there’s an exception
Our roads are filled with much variation
I may not be able to chose my path but the end I can
Can’t say how I’ll break through but I’m sure I will
After all, these are only False Experiences Appearing Real
