Encouragement

The LORD values and loves you. You are a child of the most High and are beautiful in His eyes. You are in God's heart and always were. "Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!" (Psalms 139:16-17)

God wants you to know just how highly He values you. "The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17) God rejoices over you!

It is against God's will for you to live unhappy or feel worthless. Yes, there are troubles in this world, but our expectation is not of this world. "And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Whom He has given us." (Romans 5:5) Do not put yourself down. Do not insult God's creation. If our perfect God loves you, shouldn't you love yourself? Lift your head, lift your heart, you are a child of the King of the universe.

We must also remember that God loves us all. Each person is special to the LORD! No matter how odd or irritating someone may seem, you have the same Holy Father. Every individual is a miracle of creation and so cherished by God that He sent Jesus, His only Son, to be our Way of salvation. Do not look down on others. Do not insult God's creation. "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." (1John 4:11) Even those who do not yet know Him are loved intensely by God. "God showed forth His love for us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

I pray, dearest, that you will realize just how precious you are. I pray also that we all will come to value one another just as God does.

Jesus said: "As the Father has loved Me. So I have loved you. Now remain in my love" (John 15:9) and "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you" (John 15:12)
