1 Co 1:9 God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (amplified bible)
This above verse has so many teachings that can be taught from just a one verse and a few words. But today it is so important that each member of the family of GOD understand that we are called to a constant companionship with HIM, our CREATOR.
Its about having a true heart, one that pursues and captures the very heart of GOD. There is no middle ground here, not for you, not for me, not for anyone. Yes there is time for growth, there is time for the pursuit, but there is absolutely no time for lollygagging our way through this life. We can not wait until tomorrow, what if tomorrow never comes? Is it not written,
Luk 13:23 And one said to Him, Lord, are the ones being saved few? And He said to them,
Luk 13:24 Strive to enter in at the narrow gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in and shall not be able.
Luk 13:25 And once the Master of the house has risen up and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us, and He shall answer and say to you, I do not know you; from where are you;
Luk 13:26 then you shall begin to say, We ate and drank in Your presence, and You have taught in our streets.
Luk 13:27 But He shall say, I tell you, I do not know you; from where you are. Depart from Me, all workers of unrighteousness!
Luk 13:28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you will see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrust out.
Being a Christian is not about what scriptures we can remember, it is not about giving anything with wrong motives. Its about serving our GOD and FATHER because we love HIM, and HE loved us. We read and study so we can know HIM better, we reach out to another so that HIS name will be glorified. We stand in faith not because we are strong, but because HE has revealed unto us HIS truth and has empowered us to sustain all the fiery darts from our enemy.
Separate from a constant companionship with GOD through JESUS, we are virtually nothing and destined to hell. We can not will our way into any place, we have 2 destinations available to us, heaven or hell. Heaven is to be in the eternal presence of love, joy, peace and power and our FATHER and KING, hell to live eternity in misery and pain. Each step we make, we have a choice we can love like we are loved by GOD, or we can line our path to hell with good intentions. We do have that choice, it is not our free will that decides where we spend eternity, its our liberty in CHRIST that allows us to choose. GOD loves us so much, if we choose to go to hell, HE will allow it. It will sadden HIM to no end, but if that is our clear and final choice we make, it is done. A will is having the ability to set our own destiny, set our own course and end up where we desire to be, the 2 choices that are available have already been made, it is up to us to freely choose GOD or not.
Our FATHER is tired of television Christians, meaning voicing what the masses want to hear, and living a life that is not a service to HIM and HIS path.
We have become the most blessed of all generations, and in looking for convenience, looking for a church with a drive up window, wanting everything quick and right now, many are choosing to lose our GOD and HIS grace. We have come to think well Joe blow down the street is doing it, so it has to be ok if we do, it won’t hurt anyone. Well in many cases my brethren it hurts us, as a matter of fact it is literally killing the masses and sending them straight to hell.
We already know each WORD GOD has spoken is true, we can not pick and choose only the good juicy stuff that gives us all kinds of favor. We must know and understand that our FATHER is a jealous FATHER, and we are called to be with the one who loves us and whom we are supposed to love.
As we are told
Joh 17:9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.
Joh 17:10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I am glorified in them.
Joh 17:11 And now I am in the world no longer, but these are in the world, and I come to You, Holy Father. Keep them in Your name, those whom You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are.
If we are HIS, like the above verses says, we have no choice, we are HIS to do with as HE pleases to further HIS purposes. We are HIS for HIS glory and HIS glory alone.
I pray that each person that reads this message, that each person that doesn’t read this message, but I pray that all gain true revival and truly with all our hearts seek GOD and HIS wisdom in our walks with HIM, that each of us fellowship and walk in the cool of the day in the garden with our FATHER. HE loves us, He sent HIS SON to die for us, and resurrected HIM to give us the hope of HIS glory for always, today and forever. That our hearts become pure in the sight of GOD and we not only chase after HIM but we walk beside HIM as we go through this and our lives to come.
