We are told in the WORD of GOD to let our light shine before men. To display the love, that our LORD and SAVIOR has showed each of us believers. All forgiving, all enduring, all sacrificing, all gentleness and love.

There are so many in the church today, that because of the world, our own personal thoughts, and at times the entertaining of satan cause anger, impatience, and a wide variety of emotions to cause us to display unchristian like attitudes.

Why is this? Many reasons from what I can see. There are many who read the WORD, but only read it and reduce it to nothing more than a book. Read, study, meditate and pray more often my brothers and sisters. There are some that have become a law driven religion instead of a grace empowerment of GOD, just like the ones who murdered CHRIST on the cross.

Some are so willing until they see that GOD has called us to go without sometimes, in order that others may have HIS grace and provisions also. Some think they know so they do not seek GOD properly. This is a condensed list and there are so many more reasons.

Many think that giving is required because it is written, so we give without the pureness of heart we are supposed to have, many times eliminating the blessings that come from giving. Whether it be in tithes or in offerings.

Me being a Christian, sometimes it is so bewildering to see this in the body of CHRIST. Then we wonder why people don’t listen or why revival doesn’t happen. Why people look into a religious view instead of just plain wanting to please the GOD we love so much and WHO loves us. Baffles me!

My brothers and sisters, the LORD is calling HIS church to be the church. HE is calling us to be instruments of HIS righteousness. HE is calling us to allow HIM to guide our hearts into unselfishness. Instead of the greedy society we have become, all in the name of I am supposed to have abundantly.

The display of GODS love is not being able to speak the role, it is being able just as JESUS did, to live the role. We are called to imitate the walk of JESUS, HE constantly put others before HIS own rights as GOD, not only is this evident on the cross, it is also evident in HIS actions and words. HE knew without a doubt, that words without action are empty and vain.

It is definitely possible for us to look upon another in love, if it were not HIS WORD would not tell us to do so. What gives us the ability is that HE HIMSELF dwells within us, HIS empowerment is alive and active within our hearts. HE did all HE is going to do, we as HIS people must earnestly look to HIM and be willing to be what HE has called us to be. We must be willing to say use me OH LORD to further YOUR purposes and YOUR glory here on earth.

I earnestly encourage and urge all who read this to pray, to seek GOD and ask HIM to reveal unto each of us what this means. That we, without fail seek HIS very heart in this matter, and all matters. That HE show us in our hearts the difference in being a Christian and a bible thumper.
