Find Your True Character, After God, not being contrary to your calling as a wife
I Corinthians 4:7-13 & Ephesians 5:22-33

Our Christian character should never stand the opportunity of judgment from sinners. We are servants of God and our calling as wives is a stewardship that God has entrusted in our hands. It’s an office that God has placed trust in us to carry out and if we fall short, there is consequences to pay. Thank God men is not our final judge, for we would all have fallen short ridiculously. We know that if we fail, somewhere there is blood on our hands. Matthew 27:24-25 says to be careful how you judge and the decisions that you make. Our decision not to treat our mate out of a godly love, can cause us to have the blood of the error of his way on our conscience. Watch your deeds. When you do your deeds to the glory and honor of God you think right, you speak right, you treat everybody right, you also see people right, and you hear the right things. A Christian Character is one after God. All of our flaws is under the blood.

When we look at marriage we know it requires a lot of work. Your attitude determines your altitude in how far you will go in your marriage. We need to be constantly taught as how we are to act, put on and pull off what we need or don’t need, and don’t let pride get the best of you. Let all of our judging be done according to the Word of God. Pride is commonly at the bottom of all our quarrels. Self- conceit contributes to producing undue problems in our marriages. We don’t want to be puffed up against each other, especially since we are instruments that God is using in this time.

Another remedy against sin, is care, or caution, it being impossible else to maintain purity of heart and life. How we spend our time, whether we use is wisely or waste it doing nothing or the wrong things in our marriage is not good representation or what God expects from us as Christian Wives. We are not to complain about our husbands whereas we criticize them, but build them up. Build up their character and the things you would criticize would usually go away. Remember we are still exhorted to be wise, not ignorant of our duties, not to ignore the keeping of our soul in righteousness, and not to be drunk concerning Satan’s devices. Be fervent in prayer for your husband, being filled with the spirit he will lead you as what to pray and how and do not grieve our Heavenly Father by being unthankful for him. Through trials and afflictions, continue to seek God and see him for all your answers. To many times we see what our mate is doing, but cannot see inside ourselves at our own messed up heart. We need God to help us to submit one to another in all that he has commanded in the marriage relationship.
Wisdom of God is used in three senses in Scripture:

It refers to the higher perspective by which God understands things that man is incapable of understanding. It refers to the understanding which a Christian should have in life and Wisdom as seen as a type of Christ, who is our wisdom.

We are or should be the women, that builds her house. We must become a master at what we do in mind, word or deed. Before a builder buildeth, he first sat down and count up the cost of what he is building before he began his project. We must lay out the word of God as our blueprint, because it’s the most prosperous material to use, the scripture in the word gives us mastery or control over the situation and grace brings us on home to do what we are suppose to do to build the family. This is a wise woman. Why let you foundation that you have laid slip right from beneath you. You have prayed and laid the foundation in this person’s life and because of a weakness on their part that need to be rebuked and given to God. You give up your foundation that you have perfected for yourself for someone else to reap from it.

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or stubble; every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. A marriage without God as the foundation is going to require much work or it is most likely doom, without you being submitted to the work. Your first thing to win them to God is to find a common ground and agree to disagree where needed. Remember Amos 3:3 says how can tow walk together except they agree. The foundation cannot be built with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble or things. You can’t marry for things, it has to be for love, for love covers a multitude of faults, sin. We must have forgiveness in that foundation. God has given us a work to do…Have you ever considered that marriage takes work but we have to be led by God, so we can’t get swayed by the moment but stay focused that your prayer may be fervent. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon he shall receive a reward. You will be rewarded for doing the right things even if he doesn’t do right or treat you right. Your labour is not in vain. It’s not about him, but God anyway. It’s how well you obey. Stay focused. See youself so that God honors your prayer for that man. Remember it’s not him we are fighting but a bad spirit operating in him. You don’t want your works to be burned because you will suffer loss. As a helpmeet to your husband, you are to help meet the need, naturally and spiritually through prayer. Your word is laid out. Your labor of love shall not be lost.

In Marriage we see that we need so far, Love, Agreement, Forgiveness, and Work.
