Keep Youself Pure, Holy And Humble
I Corinthians3:18-23 & Ephesians 4:25-28

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

As I stated before it’s not about him, but your relationship with God. We are so sidetracked with the cares of this world, our husbands not being saved and what he is doing, we can’t stay focused on what we are supposed to be doing. We are to stay in the word that we ourselves don’t become that false teacher that teaches erroneous doctrine, unholy and untrue. We can corrupt, pollute, and destroy our relationship which is to be kept pure and holy for God. What are we portraying then? We portray loose principles, and it says that the church is loose and thereby it brings destruction to every thing and everybody we come in contact with, rather than give life to any situation. Christ dwells in a clean temple and can only watches what our actions say. What our actions say is what is contained in the profession of our heart. If we profess holiness, then we ought to not only say we are, but we should be pure and clean, both in heart and conversation. We only deceive ourselves and we are enemies to the cross of Christ.

We can only be humble to our husbands when we are true and pure in our life of Christ. The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life and he that wins souls is wise. She cares for the souls of her husband and children, as well as others. She seeks ways that her loved ones may be saved. A wise woman prays always without ceasing for lost souls. She seeks the way of Christ to pursue holiness. She uses discretion in her doings that some one would want to follow her in righteousness. Her words are kind, good, as not to turn the heart of men. She knows and realizes that the hand of the diligent shall bear rule, it shall govern surely, not enslave. She knows that heaviness in the heart of man makes the heart stoop, but a good word makes it glad.

You don’t want to just live to build the house, but to become a master at it, having control over the actions of her house. She is the captain of her house, the owner, the head of her household if she understands that she can rule without being the ruler. She is also pure, holy, and humble because she does not lie or tell falsehoods, those little white lie. Well a white lie is still a lie and will get you into Hell quicker than a whole lie. She chooses the way of Christ. There is a way that seems right unto man, but the ends thereof are the ways of death. She kills the way of her unsaved husband and children. She doesn’t run with the crowd because she knows about the transference of spirits brought on by association, observation and environment. She uses discipline, as you know love and discipline goes together.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, he taketh the wise in their own craftiness. A wise builder fears God and departs from evil. She doesn’t anger easily, and her heart is sound. She is a true witness. Their wisdom rest in the heart of him that hath understanding, but that which is in the midst of the fools is made known.

And again, the Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise that they are in vain. Righteousness exhorts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people and God’s favor is toward a wise servant. The master builder obtains God’s favor first in all things. A saved wife builds up her unsaved husband. She does not answer him grievously, but softly so that she may turn away wrath. Anger is removed by a gentle response, but a heated response fuels the flame. Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry for anger rests in the bosom of a fool. This wife must live to build the name she has obtained more than worry about money or riches. She takes rebuke and build from it because the end of a thing is better than the beginning and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours. The Saved wife consider in her heart even to declare this, that the righteous and the wise, and their works are in the hand of God; no man knows either love or hatred by all that is before them. They live joyfully with those around them and whatsoever their hand find to do, they do it with all their might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave whither she goes.

The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but to them that endure all the way to the end. In this way women stay strong and let God use you to draw that unsaved husband unto him through your total submission to his word and way. We must be different from the sinners because we could so easily lose our mates to the world forever by how we respond

Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; and ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

In Marriage we need to put away lying, speak the truth, be angry but don’t sin, don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, don’t give no place to the Devil. Whatever you were doing, if nothing changed, stop doing it. If you keep doing the same thing and nothing changes, try something new. Do things God’s way and right will always be right, even if it doesn’t seem like nothing’s going to happen. Change your way, see you in the equation and if your ways add up to what is expected of you. Remember Woman you married that man. Work your hands the thing which is good and give God something to work with. Vow that you will keep a distinction between real and nominal Christians, thereby provoking change.
