I wish the buck stopped here; I surely could use a few...

Speaking of bucks, my Dad went deer hunting for 17 years and
never shot one. Finally, he went with a bow and arrow during
doe season, and guess what -- he got one. If at first you don't
succeed, change weapons.

Is there some way that we can apply that to life? Dr. Phil
occasionally asks, "Is what you are doing working for you?" The
answer is usually "no." Maybe you've been dealing with a
problem in your life, and what you are trying isn't working for
you, either.

It's time to change weapons. In 2 Cor. 10:4 (nlt) we read, "We
use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock
down the Devil's strongholds." Maybe the problem that has a
stranglehold on you is one of the Devil's strongholds. It's time to
try God's mighty weapons combined with some bold will power
on your part to break the chains that bind you. Don't merely say,
"Lord, I tried, now it's your problem." It's a problem with which
both of you need to deal. Get real -- grab the problem by the
horns and be determind that by God's grace you are going to
trample the Devil's strongold. Do it now!
