I Am the Stone

I am the stone He builds upon
In the Kingdom of the strong
Though weak and small upon this earth
It is exactly where I belong

I am the stone that’s cast away
Thrown from earth’s harvest field
But when wearing the armour of God
My place in eternity’s sealed

I am the stone that on some stumble
Though it never is my call
I do not have the strength to stand
It is He that softens the fall

I am the stone that He welcomes back
Into His arms of love
When I am lost and gone astray
His Light the way to Heaven above
