He Makes Our World

On the wings of fairytales
Their stories did inspire
Elusive dreams and wisps of hope
Through a Son that burns like fire

The meager woke in a listless haze
Todays relief is not yet seen
But like its been in other days
It’s Your blood that makes them clean

The mistiness of this morning’s dew
Clouds ways and fogs the heart
All is clear with the sight of you
Sure destiny from the start

The promises of hope you give
Make easier their way
It is for this alone they live
And by your side will stay

For what you give in just one look
Answered mysteries will they find
The words we find held in your book
Bring peace and calm their mind.

So if your days are dark and long
And hidden from the light
Look at God, with Him you belong
He makes your world all right
