I was thinking this morning of colors, and how some are attached to each season, and wondering how that all got started, there had to be a logical reason.

I wondered if they were all chosen for how they make us feel, and how that matches up to the weather, the one making the other more real.

And I thought about fall; to me it's always the end of summer, instead of the beginning of something new, perhaps that is all because I love summer and want it to last the year through.

The colors of fall are all the warm ones, that remind me of firelight and candle glow, colors that you can wrap around you, keeping you snug when the chilly winds blow.

There are the reds and golds of the autumn leaves, falling gently like burnished rain falling down, and the soft pumpkin yellow, and rich browns, and dark reds that if you look, you'll see all around.

And they all remind me of our love, and the richness that fills our hearts, for
each season brings a different palette of colors for a new picture of our joy to
start.

There's the red of love, deep and rich, the background of our painting new, for it is the foundation of all that we are, this love we share, glowing and true.

There is the gold of memories we share, and those that we create each passing day, they are a treasure we can bring out over and over again, as we go along our way.

The soft yellow is the light of grace that shines from above, and fills our world with a heavenly glow, adding such beauty to our faces, so beloved.

And the rich brown is the earth where we're planted, the place where we can stretch and grow, and add more each day to the joy of our world, filled with the greatest love we have ever known.

I thank God each morning for all the colors that we are so privileged to see,
that change our world and how it looks, a brand new landscape comes to be.

And with each passing season, our love changes too, and grows more beautiful
to me, for in this glowing light that we share, we both can be truly free.

God gave us the light and the colors we have, the ones that fill our heart, and through it all, one thread runs true, because of Him we will never be apart.
